Vehicle Inspector

* **Vehicle Inspection \& Evaluation:** * Conduct thorough visual and mechanical inspections of vehicles. * Check body condition, paint quality, and structural integrity. * Inspect tires, brakes, suspension, lights, and other key components. * Assess the engine, transmission, and exhaust system performance. * **Documentation \& Reporting:** * Record vehicle details, mileage, and condition in reports. * Provide recommendations on necessary repairs or refurbishments. * Generate inspection reports for management and customers. * **Safety \& Compliance Checks:** * Ensure vehicles meet legal and safety regulations. * Identify flood damage, frame damage, or accident history. * Verify Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and other essential records. * **Customer \& Vendor Interaction:** * Communicate findings to customers, showroom staff, or vendors. * Assist in pricing vehicles based on their condition and market value. * **Quality Assurance:** * Ensure all cars meet the showroom’s quality standards before being listed for sale. * Work with the service department to address necessary repairs. * **Test Driving \& Diagnostic Testing:** * Conduct test drives to check engine performance and drivability. * Use diagnostic tools to identify electronic or mechanical issues. **Required Qualifications \& Skills:** * High school diploma or equivalent (Automotive certifications preferred). * Experience in automotive inspection, repair, or quality control. * Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and safety regulations. * Familiarity with diagnostic tools and car valuation methods. * Good attention to detail and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to generate detailed reports and communicate findings effectively. * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
