Van Sales - Supermarkets - Snacks

VAN SALESMAN – FMCG DISTRIBUTION **Location:** Bahrain **Employment Type:** Full\-Time We are looking for an **experienced Van Salesman** to join our FMCG distribution team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling and distributing products to supermarkets, groceries, convenience stores and other retail outlets across Bahrain. Key Responsibilities * Visit assigned customers according to the daily route plan. * Sell and distribute company products directly to customers. * Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets. * Develop strong relationships with existing customers and identify new sales opportunities. * Take customer orders and ensure accurate order processing. * **Request and follow up on Purchase Orders (POs)** from customers when required. * Create and issue sales invoices and delivery documents accurately. * Handle cash/credit collections and ensure all payments are properly recorded and submitted. * Ensure products are properly **merchandised, displayed and replenished** on shelves. * Maintain good product visibility and ensure shelves are clean, organized and properly stocked. * Check stock levels regularly and ensure the van is adequately stocked for the day's route. * Maintain accurate daily records of sales, collections, returns and stock movement. * Report out\-of\-stock products, customer issues and market opportunities to management. * Monitor competitor products, pricing, promotions and activities and provide market feedback. * Maintain good customer service and resolve routine customer issues professionally. * Maintain the company van in a clean and presentable condition and report any maintenance issues. * Follow company pricing, sales procedures, credit policies and reporting requirements. * Ensure all assigned outlets are visited according to the required schedule. Requirements * **Valid Bahrain driving licence – Mandatory.** * **Previous experience in Van Sales / Direct Sales / FMCG Distribution in Bahrain – Mandatory.** * Minimum **2 years of relevant experience** preferred. * Strong knowledge of **Bahrain roads, routes, areas and retail outlets**. * Must be able to independently navigate Bahrain and efficiently plan daily routes. * **Must be able to read and write English.** * Good communication and customer service skills. * Previous experience with **FMCG products, supermarkets, groceries or retail distribution** is strongly preferred. * Basic computer/mobile sales application skills and ability to prepare invoices and sales reports. * Good numerical and record\-keeping skills. * Must be honest, reliable, punctual and responsible when handling company stock and money. * Must be physically fit and able to load/unload products. * Self\-motivated, target\-oriented and able to work independently.
