Upholstery foreman

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the upholstery team. • Read and interpret production drawings, specifications, and work orders. • Plan and allocate work to upholsterers based on project priorities and deadlines. • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client specifications. • Train, mentor, and evaluate upholstery staff to improve productivity and craftsmanship. • Ensure the correct use of materials, tools, machinery, and equipment. • Monitor material consumption and minimize waste. • Coordinate with production, carpentry, metal, and project teams to ensure smooth workflow. • Maintain workshop cleanliness and enforce health and safety regulations. • Report daily production progress, delays, and manpower requirements to management. • Assist in solving production issues and implementing process improvements. • Ensure projects are completed on time while maintaining the highest quality standards. Minimum 5 years of experience in upholstery, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. can speak english
