UI/UX & Motion Graphic Designer (Mobile App Focus)

Universal Institute Kuwait is seeking a **UI/UX \& Motion Graphic Designer** specializing in **Mobile Application Development**. In this dual\-capacity role, you will design visual identity systems, animated app promotional content, and interactive screen prototypes for cross\-platform applications (iOS, Android, React Native, and Flutter). Additionally, you will assist in mentoring students enrolled in the institute's IT \& Graphic Design programs. **Key Responsibilities** * **Mobile App UI/UX Design:** Create user\-centric wireframes, user flows, and interactive app prototypes for iOS and Android platforms tailored to institute projects and course material. * **Motion Graphics \& Micro\-Interactions:** Design UI animations, loading states, screen transitions, and promotional motion videos for mobile apps using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. * **Brand \& Visual Identity:** Produce graphic assets, App Store/Google Play screenshots, app icons, and marketing collateral aligned with Universal Institute’s brand guidelines. * **Collaboration with Developers:** Work closely with the IT \& Software faculty to hand over assets, redlines, and motion specs for Flutter, React Native, and native mobile environments. * **Academic Support:** Support and guide students in the **Motion Graphics** and **Mobile App Development** modules with practical portfolio\-building projects. **Required Qualifications \& Skills** * **Experience:** 3\+ years of professional experience in graphic design, motion graphics, and UI design for mobile platforms. * **Technical Software:** * **Design \& Prototyping:** Figma, Adobe XD, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator. * **Motion \& Animation:** Adobe After Effects, Lottie/Bodymovin (for lightweight app animations), Adobe Premiere Pro. * **3D (Bonus):** Cinema 4D or 3ds Max. * **Mobile Understanding:** Strong grasp of iOS Human Interface Guidelines and Android Material Design frameworks. * **Languages:** Fluency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage for the Kuwaiti market). **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * **Quality of App Assets:** Precision of UI component delivery and smooth export of Lottie animations for developers. * **Engagement Content:** Production quality of motion teasers and app demo videos for student enrollment campaigns. * **Curriculum Support:** High pass rates and positive student feedback on UI/UX and motion graphics modules.
