Transport Supervisor

* Supervise and lead a team of heavy vehicle drivers and transport staff. * Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities. * Schedule and allocate work to drivers to ensure efficient transport operations. * Ensure all transport activities comply with legal regulations and company policies, including licensing, permits, and safety standards. * Monitor driver adherence to safety protocols and enforce corrective actions when necessary. * Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the team. * Plan and optimize transport routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize costs. * Oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring all vehicles are in good working condition and compliant with safety regulations. * Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and pick\-up of goods. * Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and driver logs. * Prepare and submit regular reports on transport operations, including performance metrics, incidents, and compliance issues. * Manage and resolve any transport\-related issues or disputes. * Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality and addressing any customer complaints or concerns promptly * Assist in the preparation and management of the transport budget. * Monitor expenses and implement cost\-saving measures where applicable.
