The Role We are looking for a detail\-oriented, sharp Trade Compliance Specialist to ensure all our cross\-border import/export activities comply with international trade laws, customs regulations, and trade agreements. In this role, you will safeguard our global operations by auditing shipments, managing licensing, and ensuring zero regulatory friction across our supply chains. What You’ll Do * Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce adherence to import/export laws, sanctions, tariffs, and international trade regulations. * Customs \& Document Oversight: Review customs documentation, classify goods (HS/HTS codes), and manage export license applications. * Risk Audits \& Mitigation: Conduct regular compliance reviews, identify supply chain risks, and implement corrective action plans. * Partner Collaboration: Work directly with customs brokers, freight forwarders, logistics partners, and internal trade operations teams. * Regulatory Tracking: Stay up to date on evolving global trade policies, sanctions, and tariffs to keep company practices fully compliant. What We’re Looking For * 3–5\+ years of experience in international trade compliance, customs brokerage, or export/import control. * Strong expertise in HS code classification, country of origin determination, and trade agreements (e.g., FTA protocols). * Practical knowledge of global export controls, sanctions regimes, and customs audit processes. * Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and strong documentation skills. * Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with regulatory bodies and international partners.
