Toolroom Technician with experience in Plastic Injection Moulds

DPlast is a growing plastic manufacturing company specialising in the design and manufacture of injection moulds and plastic products. We are looking for an experienced **Tool Room Operative / Toolmaker** to join our team. Key Responsibilities * Manufacture, modify and repair injection moulds and tooling. * Operate conventional **milling machines, centre lathes and surface grinders** to a high standard. * Read and interpret **complex engineering drawings** and work to tight tolerances. * Assemble, maintain and troubleshoot mould components. * Carry out precision fitting, machining and finishing work. * Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards. Requirements * Minimum **5 years' experience** in a tool room, preferably within the plastics or injection moulding industry. * Proven experience operating: * Conventional Milling Machines * Centre Lathes * Surface Grinders * Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings. * Strong understanding of precision engineering and tolerances. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Good problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.
