Thermal Design Engineer – Heat Exchangers

We are looking for an experienced Thermal Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the thermal design and analysis of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin Fan), Hairpin Heat Exchangers, and Pressure Vessels. The candidate should be highly proficient in HTRI and have a strong understanding of international design codes and client specifications within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Desalination industries. Key Responsibilities • Perform thermal design and sizing of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin Fan), Hairpin Heat Exchangers, and Pressure Vessels using HTRI • Conduct thermal analysis for proposals and quotations based on client process data and project specifications • Optimize thermal designs to achieve required process performance while minimizing manufacturing costs • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements, review process data, and recommend design improvements • Provide thermal design support to the engineering team during project execution and post-order activities • Review client specifications and ensure compliance with applicable international standards and company requirements • Improve thermal design processes to enhance quotation accuracy and turnaround time • Modify and optimize designs to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturability • Support manufacturing and project teams by providing technical guidance on thermal design-related matters • Perform thermal design and sizing of Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Air Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin Fan), Hairpin Heat Exchangers, and Pressure Vessels using HTRI • Conduct thermal analysis for proposals and quotations based on client process data and project specifications • Optimize thermal designs to achieve required process performance while minimizing manufacturing costs • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements, review process data, and recommend design improvements • Provide thermal design support to the engineering team during project execution and post-order activities • Review client specifications and ensure compliance with applicable international standards and company requirements • Improve thermal design processes to enhance quotation accuracy and turnaround time • Modify and optimize designs to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturability • Support manufacturing and project teams by providing technical guidance on thermal design-related matters
