The Vinyl Applicator & Signage Technician

• Precisely cut and weed vinyl graphics from large rolls, ensuring clean lines and accurate designs for various applications. • Apply vinyl graphics to diverse surfaces such as vehicles, windows, walls, and signage substrates, utilizing specialized tools and techniques for a flawless finish. • Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, degreasing, and sometimes priming to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity of vinyl applications. • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to accurately translate designs into physical installations. • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or apprenticeship in sign-making or a related trade is a significant advantage. • Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience specifically in vinyl application and sign fabrication. • Proficiency in operating vinyl plotters, large-format printers, and common sign-making equipment. • Strong understanding of different vinyl types, their properties, and appropriate application methods for various substrates.
