Textil Supply Chain Director

About the Role Arlin Textil is seeking an experienced and commercially minded **Textil Supply Chain Director** to lead and optimize the company's end\-to\-end textile supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing supply chain strategies that support business growth while ensuring the efficient sourcing, procurement, production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution of textile products. This is a strategic leadership position requiring strong knowledge of the textile and apparel industry, international sourcing, supplier management, logistics, and cost optimization. The Director will work closely with senior management and cross\-functional teams to ensure products and materials are available at the right quality, cost, and time. Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute the company's overall supply chain strategy in alignment with business objectives. * Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and supply planning activities. * Establish and maintain strong relationships with textile manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and logistics partners. * Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, payment conditions, and delivery schedules with key suppliers. * Oversee the sourcing of fabrics, textiles, trims, raw materials, packaging, and other production\-related materials. * Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to minimize excess stock, shortages, and obsolete inventory. * Coordinate demand planning, purchasing, production requirements, and delivery schedules. * Improve supply chain efficiency while maintaining product quality and customer service levels. * Monitor supplier performance, including quality, pricing, lead times, reliability, and compliance. * Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans for material shortages, supplier disruptions, transportation delays, and market fluctuations. * Oversee import/export logistics and coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and other relevant partners. * Establish and monitor supply chain KPIs, budgets, cost targets, and operational performance. * Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve delivery performance, and increase operational efficiency. * Ensure supply chain processes comply with applicable company policies, commercial requirements, and relevant regulations. * Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain, procurement, logistics, and inventory teams. * Prepare regular supply chain performance reports and strategic recommendations for senior management. QualificationsEducation * Bachelor's degree in **Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Textile Engineering, Textile Management, Operations Management**, or a related discipline. * A master's degree or relevant professional certification is an advantage. Professional Experience * **10\+ years of progressive experience** in supply chain, procurement, sourcing, logistics, or operations. * At least **5 years in a managerial or senior leadership position**. * Proven experience within the **textile, apparel, fashion, garment manufacturing, fabric sourcing, or related manufacturing industry** is strongly preferred. * Demonstrated experience managing suppliers and international sourcing activities. * Experience managing end\-to\-end supply chain operations across procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution. * Experience working with suppliers and business partners across international markets is highly desirable. * GCC or Qatar experience is an advantage. Technical \& Professional Skills * Strong understanding of textile materials, fabrics, trims, garment production, and textile sourcing processes. * Excellent knowledge of procurement, supplier negotiation, inventory management, demand planning, and logistics. * Strong commercial and financial understanding, including cost analysis and budget management. * Proficiency in ERP and supply chain management systems. * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with supply chain reporting and analytics tools. * Ability to monitor and interpret supply chain KPIs and operational data. * Strong knowledge of international purchasing, shipping, import/export documentation, and logistics processes. * Professional certifications such as **APICS CSCP/CPIM, CIPS, CPSM**, or equivalent are an advantage.
