Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic **Telecom Infrastructure Lead** to oversee the planning, deployment, and optimization of telecom infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure robust network performance, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with Ucom’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* **Network planning**: Design and implement telecom infrastructure strategies to support business expansion.
* **Project management**: Lead infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
* **System optimization**: Monitor and enhance network performance, capacity, and scalability.
* **Vendor coordination**: Manage relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers.
* **Compliance assurance**: Ensure adherence to Omani telecom regulations and international standards.
* **Team leadership**: Mentor and guide engineers and technicians to achieve operational excellence.
* **Reporting**: Provide infrastructure performance and project status reports to senior management.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
* 6–8 years of experience in telecom infrastructure, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of fiber optics, wireless networks, and core telecom systems.
* Proficiency in project management tools and telecom design software.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
* Familiarity with Oman’s telecom regulatory framework is an advantage.
