Job description

• Perform assembly, fitting, and cleaning of components and finished products according to engineering drawings and work instructions. • Operate production machinery, hand tools, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently. • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and manufacturing processes. • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. • Report defects, non-conformities, equipment malfunctions, and safety concerns to the supervisor. • Carry out routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of machines, tools, and workstations. • Support production targets by completing assigned work within the required timelines. • Maintain accurate production records, inspection reports, and work documentation. • Ensure proper handling, storage, and identification of materials, components, and finished products. • Follow Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. • Assist senior technicians and engineers during troubleshooting, testing, and process improvements. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and workplace safety. • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure a clean and organized work area following 5S principles. • Work collaboratively with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to achieve production objectives. • Comply with company policies, confidentiality requirements, and security procedures applicable to defense manufacturing. • Mechanical aptitude and assembly skills. • Ability to read engineering drawings and technical instructions. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control. • Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (e.g., vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges). • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and teamwork. • Commitment to safety and quality standards. • Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.
