Job description
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To ensure continued airworthiness and provide technical support to maintain the reliability, safety, and performance of the aircraft in compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides continued airworthiness and technical support across airframe systems, avionics, structures, interiors, engines, and components to address operational engineering issues. Reviews and actions emergency Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), fleetwide inspections, and away-from-base Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events to ensure airworthiness compliance. Monitors the Engineering Daily Technical Status to assess maintenance operations, technical delays, deferred defects, and operational restrictions affecting the flydubai fleet. Evaluates and tracks aircraft defects using Aircraft Health Monitoring (AHM) and AMOS systems to ensure proper troubleshooting, rectification, and follow-up on repetitive defects. Interprets technical documentation including ADs, SBs, Component Service Bulletins (CSBs), and other regulatory or manufacturer publications to determine required actions. Liaises with internal departments and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to resolve engineering issues and ensure the availability of approved data for aircraft release. Provides technical input and assistance during investigations arising from Air Safety Reports (ASRs), Mandatory Occurrence Reports (MORs), and similar events. Assists in developing and maintaining processes, procedures, and documentation that support the continued technical operation and regulatory compliance of the fleet.
• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years) Engineering or ICAO Type 2 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers License (B2 or B1) or Engineering Apprenticeship
• Fluent in English
• Years with qualifications: 5 - 7 years

ISR REQUIREMENTS
• Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team.
• Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
