Job description
PipeCare Group of companies has been helping the customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. PipeCare Group is looking for an experienced Team Leader [Operations] who will lead the team of field Project workers and making sure that the Project work is executed in a safe, effective and efficient manner in line with the time, resources and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities & Authorities
• Prepare, sign and submit pigging, daily, express and other relevant reports
• Discuss equipment and tools requirements including auxiliaries, AGM's, DGPS, magnets, launching trays, spares, tool box and all other required tools for use in the field, etc.
• Study and analyze project information document, operation manuals, pigging procedures and other project-related documents
• Establish professional contact with client s field personnel creating friendly working relations
• Manage and develop the team to execute field work in a safe, effective and efficient manner in line with time, resource and financial planning.
• Is authorized to stop execution of any work at site if it is unsafe or may create unsafe work conditions.
• Coordinate field activities between the team, subcontractor, client and other involved parties.
• Visit client s sites (site kick-off meetings, field surveys, risk assessment review meetings, etc.).
Skills/Experience:
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or relevant) plus 3 years of operation planning experience
• Experience in Oil and Gas sector, preferably with ILI exposure
• Computer skills in Microsoft word, excel and outlook at an intermediate level
• Fluency in English, the language of the Territory is an advantage
• Ability to travel extensively
Physical and Mental Requirements:
• Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
• Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
• Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
• Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
• Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.

Inspection Technologies
• Magnetic Flux Leakage (MFL): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, especially circumferentially oriented.
• Transverse Field Inspection (TFI): Detects and sizes general corrosion and metal loss anomalies, primarily axially oriented.
• Ultrasound (UT): Detects and sizes general and other metal loss anomalies with high depth sizing accuracy.
