Systems Quality Assurance Director

Job Type: Full\-time Job Summary Cystemet Srl is seeking a Systems Quality Assurance Director to lead our end\-to\-end software and systems QA strategy, validation frameworks, and quality governance. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will drive automated testing practices, ensure system reliability across complex software architectures, maintain regulatory compliance, and lead high\-performing QA and test engineering teams. Key Responsibilities QA Vision \& Strategy: Define and execute enterprise\-wide systems QA policies, automation roadmaps, and continuous delivery testing strategies. Test Automation \& Architecture: Oversee the development and maintenance of scalable automated testing frameworks (UI, API, performance, and security testing) across multi\-platform software solutions. Quality Metrics \& Governance: Establish clear quality KPIs, defect tracking models, and system performance benchmarks to ensure zero\-defect software releases. Cross\-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with DevOps, Systems Engineering, Product Management, and Software Development teams to embed quality standards early in the CI/CD pipeline (Shift\-Left approach). Compliance \& Audits: Ensure system quality processes comply with ISO/IEC 25010, ISO 9001, GDPR, and relevant European software quality and data privacy standards. Team Leadership \& Growth: Recruit, mentor, and evaluate QA leads, test engineers, and automation specialists, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications \& Requirements Experience: 10\+ years in Software Quality Assurance and Systems Testing, with at least 4\+ years in a senior leadership role (Director, QA Manager, or Head of QA). Technical Mastery: Deep hands\-on background in automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, Postman) and CI/CD integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in complex systems integration, API validation, microservices testing, and non\-functional testing (load, stress, and security). Certifications (Preferred): ISTQB Full Advanced Level / Expert Level, Agile Tester Certification, or Lean Six Sigma. Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field. Languages: Professional working proficiency in Italian and English.
