#### **System Integration Specialist/ Developer**

Description**Job Purpose:**
Responsible for implementing, and maintaining the integration of various clinical, administrative, and operational hospital systems. The role ensures interoperability between hospital information systems (HIS), Electronic Medical Records (EMR), ERP, and external health platforms (e.g., MOH e\-health services), contributing to efficient hospital workflows and improved patient care.
**Roles and Responsibilities:**
* Ensure work is performed based on approved policies, processes, procedures, and instructions
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, cost reduction and productivity improvement
* Ensure day\-to\-day activities are properly performed in line with policies and procedures
* Follow\-up on escalated cases/issues of subordinates to ensure they are closed efficiently and in a timely manner
+ design and manage system integration workflows between clinical, administrative, and external systems.
+ Develop and maintain interfaces using HL7, FHIR, DICOM, JSON, XML, and RESTful/SOAP web services.
+ Monitor and troubleshoot integration issues and work with vendors or internal teams for resolution.
+ Participate in data mapping, transformation, and validation processes for new integrations or migrations.
+ Implement and maintain integration engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf).
+ Ensure compliance with data protection, security policies, and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, local MOH standards).
+ Document integration configurations, mappings, and technical processes.
+ Provide training and support to end\-users and technical teams on integration usage and troubleshooting.
Requirements
Knowledge and Experience:
2\-5 years of experience in system integration.
Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Skills:
Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
Good communication skills in Arabic and English (verbal and written).
Ability to prepare clear reports, meeting minutes, and maintain accurate records.
Time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Basic knowledge of IT service workflows and healthcare IT systems is desirable.
Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
