Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across the organization’s IT infrastructure. Server & Infrastructure Management • Install, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and other IT infrastructure. • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across servers, applications, and networks. • Manage and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights. • Perform regular security monitoring to identify potential intrusions or vulnerabilities. • Apply OS patches and upgrades, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. • Ensure backups and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested regularly. • Maintain documentation related to system configuration, procedures, and changes. • Provide support for Office 365, Active Directory, and user endpoint devices. • Support end users with system, software, and hardware issues. • Collaborate with network engineers, developers, and other IT staff. • Technical Skills • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols. • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers and systems. • Familiarity with Office 365, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and security best practices. • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. • Excellent communication and documentation skills. Operating Systems & Tools • Windows OS and Mac administration knowledge. • Microsoft Cloud Technologies • IT Service Desk/Ticketing Systems MINIMUM QUALIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Relevant certifications preferred: Certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CompTIA Server+, or CCNA are a plus MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: • Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role • Hands-on expertise in server administration, virtualization, and IT infrastructure management
