Supply Chain & Cost Control Officer

We are looking for an assertive and detail\-oriented Supply Chain \& Cost Control Officer to enforce inventory, receiving, storage, and distribution controls across our Central Kitchen, warehouses, and branches. This hands\-on role requires regular site inspections, stopping improper practices, and promptly escalating violations to protect inventory and control food costs. **Key Responsibilities** * Verify quantities, quality, expiry dates, packaging, and temperatures during receiving; stop acceptance of non\-compliant goods. * Enforce correct storage, labeling, hygiene, segregation, and FIFO/FEFO stock rotation. * Conduct stock counts, spot checks, and surprise audits; reconcile physical inventory with system records. * Investigate and report shortages, overages, expired stock, and unexplained variances. * Verify picking, packing, dispatch, and timely branch delivery acknowledgments. * Ensure all transfers, returns, adjustments, and write\-offs are properly documented and recorded. * Stop unauthorized stock movements and improper processes; escalate control breaches with supporting evidence. * Conduct regular and unannounced inspections and follow up on corrective actions. * Maintain confidentiality and report attempts to bypass controls or manipulate findings. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong knowledge of inventory controls, stock reconciliation, and food storage practices. * Understanding of FIFO/FEFO procedures and food cost control. * Ability to enforce procedures firmly and professionally. * Strong attention to detail, reporting, communication, and follow\-up skills. * High integrity and confidence to challenge non\-compliance. * Willingness to conduct regular inspections across company locations. **Reports to:** Supply Chain, Inventory \& Cost Control Manager.
