Supervisor- Electrical

**Job Summary:** Responsible for efficiently managing and supervising the installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical installations within KDD, ensuring compliance with KDD requirements, international standards, and applicable safety regulations. The role involves reviewing project specifications and user requirements, coordinating electrical works with project teams and contractors, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that all electrical systems are installed and commissioned safely, efficiently, and according to approved specifications and quality standards. **Job duties include but are not limited to:** * Review project specifications, drawings, and user requirements to determine electrical installation requirements. * Supervise and coordinate electrical installation, commissioning, testing, and validation activities. * Ensure all electrical works are carried out in accordance with KDD standards, approved specifications, international standards, and applicable safety regulations. * Monitor the progress and quality of electrical works and ensure timely completion of assigned activities. * Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of electrical projects. * Inspect electrical installations and verify that all works meet approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. * Identify and resolve electrical installation issues, technical problems, and site\-related challenges. * Review and verify electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation. * Supervise contractors and subcontractors and ensure compliance with project requirements, safety procedures, and quality standards. * Conduct and oversee testing, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems and equipment. * Ensure proper documentation of inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities. * Monitor the use of electrical materials, tools, and equipment and ensure compliance with approved standards. * Coordinate preventive and corrective actions related to electrical systems and installations. * Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and participate in risk assessments and safety inspections. * Provide technical guidance and support to electrical technicians and other team members. * Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager on project status, issues, and completion. * Support the preparation of project schedules, resource requirements, and material requirements. * Ensure that electrical works are completed within the approved scope, schedule, quality, and budget requirements. * Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Project Manager. **Required Qualification:** * Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical installation, commissioning, testing, and project supervision. * Experience in supervising electrical installation and project activities. * Experience in coordinating contractors and subcontractors for electrical works. * Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred.
