Structural Steel Fabricator

**Job Summary** We are looking for a skilled **Structural Steel Fabricator** to fabricate, assemble, and prepare structural steel components according to engineering drawings and fabrication standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in steel fabrication workshops and be able to work with a variety of structural steel sections while maintaining high quality and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Read and interpret fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists. * Fabricate structural steel components including beams, columns, trusses, frames, platforms, staircases, handrails, and miscellaneous steel. * Measure, mark, cut, grind, fit, and assemble steel sections accurately. * Perform tack welding where required before final welding. * Use fabrication tools and equipment such as cutting machines, drilling machines, grinders, magnetic drills, and hydraulic tools. * Check dimensions and ensure fabricated components meet drawing specifications and tolerances. * Prepare steel members for welding, painting, or galvanizing. * Report material shortages, defects, or drawing discrepancies to the supervisor. * Assist welders during fit\-up and assembly work. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. * Follow company quality procedures and HSE regulations. * Handle fabrication of custom steel works as per project requirements. * Support workshop production targets and delivery schedules. * Coordinate with supervisors, QC inspectors, and production teams during fabrication. * Ensure proper handling and storage of fabricated materials. * Perform any other workshop\-related duties assigned by the supervisor. **Requirements** * Minimum **2–5 years** of experience as a Structural Steel Fabricator. * Experience in structural steel fabrication, PEB, industrial steel structures, or miscellaneous steel works. * Ability to read and understand fabrication/shop drawings. * Knowledge of steel sections such as I\-Beams, H\-Beams, Channels, Angles, RHS, SHS, Pipes, and Plates. * Skilled in measuring tools including measuring tape, vernier caliper, spirit level, and square. * Familiarity with fabrication equipment and workshop practices. * Good understanding of fabrication tolerances and quality standards. * Physically fit and able to lift and handle steel components safely. * Basic English communication skills are preferred. * Immediate joiners will be an advantage. **Preferred Industry Experience** * Structural Steel Fabrication * PEB (Pre\-Engineered Buildings) * Oil \& Gas * Industrial Construction * Steel Structures * Warehouses * Commercial Buildings * High\-Rise Steel Structures * Miscellaneous Steel Fabrication **Key Skills** * Structural Steel Fabrication * Drawing Interpretation * Steel Fit\-Up * Plate \& Section Fabrication * Grinding \& Cutting * Measuring \& Layout * Workshop Safety * Material Handling * Quality Inspection * Teamwork * Time Management Work Location: In person
