Structural Steel Detailer

• Prepare detailed structural steel shop drawings and erection drawings. • Develop and maintain accurate 3D structural steel models using Tekla Structures or equivalent software. • Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and material take-offs. • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure detailing accuracy. • Coordinate with engineering, production, and fabrication teams to resolve design and detailing issues. • Revise drawings and models based on project updates and client feedback. • Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, fabrication standards, and industry regulations. • Support the production team with accurate fabrication documentation and technical information. • Maintain organized project documentation and meet project deadlines. • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. • Minimum 2 years of experience in structural steel detailing. • Proficiency in Tekla Structures , AutoCAD , Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis , or equivalent detailing software. • Ability to prepare shop drawings, erection drawings, BOQs/BOMs, and material take-offs. • Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and construction processes. • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure steel projects. • Knowledge of international structural steel detailing standards. • Familiarity with fabrication and site installation processes. • Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately.
