Storekeeper

**Job Summary** The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, issuing, and monitoring company inventory, with particular attention to food and beverage items. The role requires strong inventory control skills and previous experience handling F\&B products, including proper storage, expiry\-date monitoring, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate inventory records. **Key Responsibilities** * Receive and inspect all incoming goods and verify quantities, quality, and condition against purchase orders and delivery notes. * Maintain accurate records of all stock received, issued, transferred, damaged, or returned. * Manage inventory for F\&B items, operational supplies, cleaning materials, and other company stock. * Ensure food and beverage products are stored according to required temperature, hygiene, and food\-safety standards. * Apply **FIFO/FEFO** methods to ensure proper stock rotation and minimize expired or wasted products. * Regularly check expiry dates, damaged items, and slow\-moving stock. * Issue stock only against approved store requisitions. * Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts as required. * Assist Finance and Management with inventory reconciliation and stock reports. * Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and notify the relevant department when replenishment is required. * Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance, F\&B, and other departments regarding stock requirements. * Maintain proper organization, cleanliness, labeling, and security of the store. * Monitor food wastage, damaged stock, and inventory discrepancies and report any concerns immediately. * Ensure unauthorized employees do not access or remove items from the store. * Maintain all inventory documentation and ensure records are available for audits. * Assist with monthly inventory closing and stock valuation when required. * Follow company policies, food\-safety procedures, and health and safety requirements. **Requirements** * Previous experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Controller, or similar role. * Previous F\&B, hospitality, restaurant, catering, hotel, or food\-service experience is preferred. * Good understanding of food storage, expiry\-date control, FIFO/FEFO, and stock rotation. * Experience with inventory systems and Microsoft Excel is preferred. * Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy. * Good organizational and record\-keeping skills. * Ability to identify stock shortages, discrepancies, and wastage. * Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with different departments. * Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality and accountability for company stock. **Key Competencies** * Inventory Control * F\&B Stock Management * FIFO / FEFO Management * Attention to Detail * Stock Reconciliation * Documentation \& Record Keeping * Waste Control * Organization \& Time Management * Teamwork and Coordination * Accountability Pay: AED1,624\.01 \- AED4,605\.86 per month Work Location: In person
