STOREKEEPER

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Construction Site Storekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of all materials and equipment on a construction site. This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking all materials to ensure timely project completion and cost\-effectiveness. **Key Responsibilities:** · Receive and inspect all incoming materials: · Verify the quantity and quality of all deliveries against purchase orders and invoices. · Inspect materials for any damage or defects and report any discrepancies. · Organize and store materials in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage and theft. · Utilize appropriate storage methods to protect materials from the elements (e.g., rain, sun, etc.). · Maintain a clean and organized storage area. · Accurately track all material issuances and maintain detailed records. · Ensure that materials are issued only to authorized personnel with proper documentation. · Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accurate inventory levels. · Prepare and maintain accurate inventory reports. · Monitor material usage and identify any potential shortages or overages. · Assist with the preparation of material requisitions. · Coordinate with suppliers for material deliveries. · Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures on the construction site. · Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the storage area. · Report any safety hazards or concerns immediately. **Qualifications:** · High School Diploma or equivalent. · 2\-3 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role on a construction site. · Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, inventory management software). · Excellent communication (English \& Hindi) and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
