Job Title: Storekeeper Department: Warehouse / Operations Location: UAE Job Summary We are looking for a reliable and detail\-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure the efficient storage and distribution of goods. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing items while ensuring proper inventory control and coordination with relevant departments. Key Responsibilities 1\. Inventory Management * Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials. * Verify quantities and conditions of items against purchase orders and delivery notes. * Ensure goods are properly stored in designated locations. * Maintain accurate inventory records and stock documentation. 2\. Stock Control * Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment when required. * Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. * Identify and report damaged, missing, or excess stock. * Ensure proper stock rotation and prevent inventory losses. 3\. Storage and Material Handling * Organize and arrange goods to maximize storage space and accessibility. * Ensure safe handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss. * Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety within the storage area. * Follow appropriate storage and handling procedures. 4\. Issuing and Distribution * Process material requests and internal requisitions. * Prepare, pack, and issue goods accurately and efficiently. * Maintain records of outgoing materials, returns, and stock transfers. * Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely distribution. 5\. Documentation and Reporting * Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issuances, transfers, and returns. * Prepare inventory reports and report stock discrepancies to management. * Maintain delivery notes, stock transfer forms, and other inventory\-related documents. * Update inventory management systems regularly. 6\. Equipment and Systems * Use inventory management software and computer systems to track stock movements. * Operate stock\-handling equipment when required and authorized. * Ensure inventory records are updated accurately and on time. 7\. Compliance and Safety * Follow company policies and procedures for inventory control and storage. * Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment. * Adhere to applicable health and safety guidelines. 8\. Team Coordination * Coordinate with procurement, logistics, sales, and other departments regarding stock requirements. * Communicate stock availability, shortages, and discrepancies to the relevant teams. * Support daily warehouse and store operations as required. Qualifications and Requirements * Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory or warehouse role. * Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse procedures. * Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record\-keeping. * Good organizational and time\-management skills. * Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving goods when required. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures. * Flexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime when required.
