As a **Stewarding Supervisor** , you’re not just supervising stewarding operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: * **Supervise stewarding operations:** Ensure high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency across all kitchen support areas * **Lead back of house team:** Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment * **Oversee inventory and ordering:** Monitor stock levels of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and supplies, and place orders to meet business needs for events and daily operations * **Control stock and costs:** Perform regular stock takes, identify loss patterns, and enforce measures to minimize waste while maintaining par levels * **Oversee purchasing and invoicing:** Raise purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality products within budget * **Support cross\-department collaboration:** Work closely with Finance, Events, and other teams to support seamless operations and maintain strong working relationships * **Uphold regulatory standards:** Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing **What It Takes to Make the Stay** At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of **Hospitality** .
