Job description
SS Fabricator – Roles & Responsibilities
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape stainless steel sheets, pipes, and structural components.
• Fabricate stainless steel products such as tanks, railings, handrails, kitchen equipment, ducts, frames, and custom metal structures.
• Operate fabrication equipment including shearing machines, press brakes, grinders, drills, and cutting machines.
• Assemble fabricated components accurately according to specifications.
• Perform fit-up and preparation before welding.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and maintain quality standards.
• Inspect finished products for defects and make necessary corrections.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
SS Welder – Roles & Responsibilities
• Perform stainless steel welding using TIG, MIG, or Arc welding processes as required.
• Read welding symbols and technical drawings.
• Prepare and clean materials before welding.
• Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of components before welding.
• Produce high-quality welds with minimal distortion and defects.
• Grind, polish, and finish welds to meet project specifications.
• Inspect welds visually and rectify defects when required.
• Maintain welding machines and related equipment.
• Follow welding procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Complete work within the specified timelines while maintaining workmanship quality.
• ITI, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Welding, Fabrication, or a related trade .
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in stainless steel fabrication and welding.
• Proficient in TIG welding ; MIG and Arc welding experience is an added advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Hands-on experience in cutting, grinding, fitting, fabrication, and assembly of stainless steel components.
• Familiarity with stainless steel grades, fabrication techniques, and surface finishing/polishing.
• Skilled in the safe operation of fabrication and welding equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop and site environments, including extended hours when required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow company quality and safety standards.
• Valid welding certification (if applicable) will be an added advantage.
