Sr. Purchasing Supervisor

**Date:** 11 Aug 2026 **Location:** KW **Company:** Alghanim Industries Long Description Job Summary Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, the Sr. Purchasing Supervisor will be responsible for taking care of the purchasing function, by effectively handling all procurement activities in accordance to company procedure and policy. Job Responsibilities * Fully accountable for the purchasing role as assigned. * Negotiation of prices and terms with the suppliers to bring in savings for the company. * Follow\-up with suppliers, freight forwarder and coordination with related agencies to ensure timely delivery of materials. * Proactive coordination \& follow up with suppliers is a must. Providing upto date reports and feedbacks to user division. * Transparency in all the dealings and following the purchasing procedures laid down by the company. * Proactive interaction with other divisions such as finance and stores. * Conduct Supplier/Vendor evaluation after a PO is complete. * Develop new sources to meet company’s evolving business needs. * Prepare reports for the management as and when required. Candidate Requirements Qualifications • Degree in supply chain management Experience • 3 to 5 years of experience in similar capacity. Education
