Sourcing Specialist - Oil and Gas

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a **Sourcing Specialist** to join our team in **Birkat Al Awamer, Qatar**. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and negotiating with vendors both locally and internationally, obtaining competitive pricing, and preparing quotations for customers. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills to ensure cost\-effective procurement and timely responses to client inquiries. They will need to have experience in Qatar in oil and gas sector with clients and know where to source building materials and oilfield supplies in Qatar, UAE and abroad. Ideal candidate has worked in trading company in procurement role in Qatar. **Key Responsibilities:** * Identify, evaluate, and engage with vendors and suppliers in Qatar and internationally. * Request, compare, and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions. * Prepare and submit quotations to customers based on vendor pricing. * Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement and order fulfillment. * Maintain accurate records of supplier negotiations, pricing, and procurement activities. **Requirements:** * **Minimum of 1\-4 years** of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. * Bachelors degree is highly preferred. * Strong negotiation and communication skills. * Knowledge of **local and international supplier markets**. * Ability to multitask and work in a fast\-paced environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Fluency in **English** is required; **Hindi/Malayalam** is a plus. * Experience in **trading, contracting, or industrial supplies** is an advantage. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary and benefits. * Accomodation and transportation (if required) * Incentive tied to performance * Professional growth opportunities. * A dynamic and collaborative work environment.
