Solution Architect – Banking / E-Invoicing

### **Job Overview** We are looking for an experienced **Solution Architect** to design and lead end\-to\-end technology solutions for a banking client, with a focus on **e\-invoicing, enterprise integration, cloud platforms, security, and regulatory compliance**. The role will work closely with business, technology, security, infrastructure, and compliance teams to ensure scalable, secure, and regulatory\-compliant solutions. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Design **end\-to\-end solution architecture**, including integration patterns, application components, security, error handling, and data flows. * Define architecture for **e\-invoicing and digital invoicing solutions**, ensuring seamless integration with banking and enterprise systems. * Design and oversee **API, middleware, event\-driven, and system\-to\-system integrations** across banking applications and external platforms. * Develop scalable and resilient solutions aligned with the bank’s **enterprise architecture standards and technology roadmap**. * Define **data flows, interfaces, integration mechanisms, and error\-handling frameworks** across the solution landscape. * Design secure solutions covering **authentication, authorization, encryption, data protection, and API security**. * Ensure solutions comply with applicable **banking regulations, information security policies, data privacy requirements, and regulatory standards**. * Evaluate and recommend appropriate **cloud platforms and services** across Azure/AWS or other enterprise cloud environments. * Work closely with cybersecurity, risk, compliance, infrastructure, application, and engineering teams to ensure architecture meets all required controls. * Review technical designs, solution specifications, and implementation approaches provided by delivery teams and vendors. * Identify technical risks, dependencies, scalability concerns, and integration challenges and provide appropriate mitigation strategies. * Support architecture governance, design reviews, technology decisions, and implementation oversight throughout the project lifecycle. ### **Required Skills \& Experience** * **8\+ years of experience** in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or technical architecture, preferably within **banking or financial services**. * Strong experience in **e\-invoicing, digital banking, enterprise integration, or financial technology solutions**. * Proven expertise in **integration architecture**, including APIs, REST/SOAP, microservices, middleware, event\-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns. * Strong understanding of **cloud architecture**, preferably Azure and/or AWS. * Experience designing solutions with strong **security, resilience, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery** considerations. * Good understanding of **banking applications, payment systems, financial processes, and regulatory requirements**. * Experience working with **security architecture, IAM, encryption, API security, data protection, and secure integration patterns**. * Strong understanding of **data architecture, data flows, system interfaces, and integration dependencies**. * Experience working with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance processes. * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage with **business, technology, cybersecurity, risk, compliance, and senior management**. ### **Preferred** * Experience with **UAE banking clients and CBUAE regulatory requirements**. * Exposure to **UAE e\-invoicing / FTA requirements** and digital tax/e\-invoicing frameworks. * Relevant architecture/cloud certifications such as **TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent**. * Experience delivering large\-scale transformation or integration programs within a **regulated banking environment**. **Skills:** e\-invoicing , cloud architecture , security compliance
