**Solution Architect – Infrastructure Discovery \& HA/DR Assessment** We are seeking an experienced **Solution Architect** to support a large\-scale infrastructure discovery and **High Availability/Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) assessment programme** across three enterprise datacentres. This is a hands\-on role requiring strong experience with **Clarity Transform, infrastructure discovery, data modelling, virtualisation, storage, backup, replication and HA/DR architecture**. The successful candidate will own the **Clarity Transform deployment**, establish the discovery framework, define the HA/DR metadata model and oversee the discovery, ingestion and mapping of infrastructure data across an estate of up to **10,000 devices**. Key Responsibilities * Deploy, configure and operationalise the **Clarity Transform** environment, including appliances, connectivity, access controls and credentials. * Define and configure the **HA/DR Metadata Model** and work with Infrastructure and Security stakeholders through to sign\-off. * Design and validate source\-to\-model mappings for infrastructure discovery and data ingestion. * Discover and analyse **VMs, physical hosts, clusters, storage, backup and replication technologies** across three datacentres. * Capture HA/DR mechanisms including clustering, Hyper\-V/hypervisor replication, OpenShift, storage replication, snapshots, backup and stretched/metro clusters. * Work with Infrastructure and Security teams to confirm topology, network connectivity, VLAN access and discovery requirements. * Run and validate automated discovery scans to identify **unknown or unmanaged infrastructure**. * Reconcile discovery data against existing management tooling and assess data quality. * Identify workloads with unclear HA/DR posture, missing ownership or incomplete protection information. * Highlight assumptions requiring business validation, including **RTO, RPO and application\-aware replication requirements**. * Produce a comprehensive **HA/DR Gap Analysis** and support remediation planning. Essential Experience * Strong hands\-on experience with **Clarity Transform**, including deployment, configuration, discovery and data modelling. * Proven experience delivering enterprise infrastructure discovery across complex datacentre environments. * Strong knowledge of **HA/DR architecture and infrastructure resilience**. * Experience with **Hyper\-V, enterprise hypervisors, OpenShift, storage replication, snapshots, backup, clustering and stretched/metro\-cluster architectures**. * Experience integrating infrastructure discovery sources into a central data model. * Understanding of network discovery, VLAN scanning, connectivity and security/access requirements. * Experience defining metadata models and source\-to\-target mappings. * Ability to analyse relationships across **compute, virtualisation, storage, backup and replication**. * Strong stakeholder management skills across Infrastructure, Security, Architecture and Business teams. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a **hands\-on Infrastructure or Solution Architect** with practical experience analysing complex enterprise estates. You should be comfortable tracing workload protection across **compute, virtualisation, storage, backup and replication layers**, and translating technical discovery data into a clear, evidence\-based view of the organisation's HA/DR posture.
