Department: Digital Services Type: Full Time Qualifications **Personal Skills** * Systematic problem\-solving approach coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive. * Strong personal ownership and ability to set and meet high professional standards, flexible and responsive work style. * Ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication skills both verbal and written. **Technical Skills** * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Interacting with architects and developers to ensure quality and timeliness. * Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example Responsibilities * Leads the activities of DevOps practices jointly with software engineers to provide automated tooling to empower our Product Development teams to rapidly build, deliver and support new features, holding, organizing, scaling Application and deployment configurations Templates, they also play a mentorship role for other engineers and drive outcomes that fulfill our mission of developer enablement. * Installation, configuration, testing, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of tools in use by development teams, including but not limited to Source Code Management (GIT, Azure, SVN), Analysis Tools, Compilers and Debuggers, Build acceleration, Continuous Delivery * Drive Continuous Integration (CI) improvements to automate service/system integration and testing methods. * Drive Continuous Deployment (CD) improvements to automate high availability release and rollback methods. * Use relevant experience to steer improvements to automated monitoring and alerting systems which support our business Service Level Integrations SLIs and Service Level Operations SLOs * Mentor other engineers to create a culture of DevOps\-minded development throughout the team. * Automate responses for recurring problems. * Building frameworks for software and application deployment. * Building platform environments to support auto\-scaling for the business in the future. * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. * Interacting with architects and developers to ensure quality and timeliness. * Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example
