Job Summary : The Water Line Piping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site activities related to the installation, testing, and maintenance of water piping systems. This includes managing crew performance, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and facilitating communication between field personnel, engineers, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise and coordinate daily work activities for piping crews, including excavation, pipe laying, backfilling, and testing. • Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and applicable codes. • Inspect materials, tools, and equipment for compliance and readiness prior to use on site. • Monitor progress, maintain daily reports, and provide updates to project managers and engineers. • Conduct or oversee hydrostatic testing, flushing, chlorination, and dechlorinating of water lines. • Resolve site issues and troubleshoot construction problems with minimal disruption to workflow. • Enforce site safety rules and conduct toolbox talks and safety inspections. • Coordinate with subcontractors, utility providers, inspectors, and other trades as needed. • Verify proper installation of fittings, valves, thrust blocks, and connections. • Assist in training new crew members and mentoring junior foremen or leads. • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in construction or pipefitting preferred. • 8+ years of experience in water pipeline construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role. • Strong understanding of water transmission and distribution systems, pipe materials (Ductile iron, HDPE), and installation methods. • Familiarity with OSHA standards, local water authority regulations, and construction safety practices. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications. • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Experience with trenchless technology methods. • Experience in infrastructure water network system, Pumping stations and reservoir • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
