Job description

We are looking for a well-organized site Structural engineer with strong leadership skills (at last 5 years consultant experience high rise) to join our growing team. The site engineer's responsibilities include managing different parts of construction projects, supervising crew members, preparing estimates for time and material costs, completing quality assurance, observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders. You should be able to work alongside various professionals and create work schedules that meet deadlines. To be successful as a site engineer, you should demonstrate strong analytical and logical thinking skills. upstanding candidates should display a superb work ethic and thrive under pressure. • Measure loads and pressures caused by environmental or human influence • Follow construction safety guidelines • Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications • Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers • Prepare and allocate budgets • Track and report on project progress • Collaborate with contractors and project managers • Prepare detailed calculations, drawings, and specifications for construction projects. • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop effective structural designs. • Review and approve construction plans, ensuring they align with structural design requirements. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and budgets. • Stay up to date with industry trends, advancements in structural engineering practices, and building codes. • Use specialized software and tools to assist in structural design and analysis. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. • A bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering. • A professional engineering license or certification. • At least 10+ years of experience in structural engineering. • Experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on site projects. • Strong knowledge of building materials, codes, and regulations. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with stakeholders.
