Site Service Technician – Mechanical

The Site Service Technician – Mechanical performs on\-site installation, maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems. The role involves working at customer locations, diagnosing equipment issues, carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing of generators and related equipment. * Candidates must have hands\-on experience in servicing and troubleshooting Air compressors, welding machines, dewatering pumps, and tower lights. * Strong technical knowledge of air compressors, including air end assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting, is mandatory. * Good knowledge of dewatering pump operation, maintenance, and fault diagnosis is required. * Diagnose and repair mechanical faults efficiently at customer sites. * Carry out inspections, testing, and commissioning support for equipment. * Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns. * Prepare service reports and maintenance records after each site visit. * Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and customer site regulations. * Coordinate with the service coordinator to plan daily service activities. * Identify spare parts requirements and recommend corrective actions. * Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good condition. * Provide professional technical support and maintain positive customer relationships. **Minimum Requirements** * Valid UAE Driving License (Mandatory). * Minimum 5 years of experience in generator/equipment maintenance and field service. * Strong knowledge of diesel generators, engines, cooling systems, fuel systems, and mechanical troubleshooting. * Ability to read technical manuals and service documentation. * Good communication and problem\-solving skills. * Willingness to travel extensively across the UAE.
