Shovel Operator

• Operate heavy-duty shovels (hydraulic, cable, or dragline) to excavate, load, and move large quantities of earth, rock, or other materials with precision. • Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on shovel equipment, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues to ensure safe and efficient operation. • Interpret grade stakes, blueprints, and site plans to accurately position the shovel and achieve desired excavation depths and contours. • Safely maneuver the shovel around active work sites, adhering to traffic control plans and maintaining safe distances from other equipment and personnel. • UAE Driving License is a must • High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B, often required for transporting equipment or materials. • Minimum of 3-5 years of documented experience operating heavy excavation equipment, with a focus on large shovels. • Certification from a recognized heavy equipment operator training program or equivalent on-the-job training.
