Shisha Server

1\. Ensuring that the service to the guest is as per the restaurant’s standards, in order to maximize guest satisfaction and departmental profit. 2\. Ensures that the shisha bar is well\-stocked with shisha accessories and all the necessary equipment are well\-maintained. 3\. Interacting positively and professionally with the guest, colleagues, and other departments as appropriate and required. 4\. Welcoming the guests on arrival and helping to seat them. 5\. Recommending and suggesting specialties to the guest and up\-selling whenever possible. 6\. Taking orders from the guests and following through with service in compliance with the restaurant’s standards. 7\. Ensuring that all side stations are tidy and clean at all times. 8\. Reporting any breakage to superiors. 9\. Attending all regular departmental briefings and contributing to open communication within the assigned team. 10\. Being familiar with and abiding by the company’s internal policies and safety procedures. 11\. Responsible for packing shishas and preparing the shisha bar. 12\. If opening, the responsibilities include turning on the restaurant lights, turning on the thermostat, filling shishas, resetting interior furniture, making sure the restaurant is clean and free of debris, cutting limes, oranges, and other fruits as needed, turning on the burner, making sure foil, tops, and tips are stocked, setting outside furniture, and any other responsibilities outlined on the daily log. 13\. If closing, the responsibilities include breaking down the remaining shishas, cleaning any remaining glasses and replacing them in the glass chiller, wiping down the service bar area, setting aside full trash bags to be taken out the next day, turning off the burner, turning off lights, turning off the thermostat, completing end of day reports, completing any other responsibilities outlined on the nightly log, and leaving the building ready to open the next day. 14\. If working during rush hours, responsibilities include breaking down shishas not currently in use at the end of the shift and filling tobaccos.
