Sharpening / MC Operator

• Operate and maintain roll sharpening / grinding (MC) machines used in the rolling mill. • Perform roll grinding, sharpening, dressing, and polishing as per production requirements. • Inspect rolls for wear, defects, and dimensional accuracy before and after grinding. • Ensure proper machine setup, calibration, and maintenance for consistent quality. • Coordinate with the rolling mill team to ensure timely availability of prepared rolls. • Follow all safety, quality, and maintenance procedures. • Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Sharpening / MC Operator in a steel rolling mill. • Hands-on experience with roll grinding, sharpening, and machine operation . • Good understanding of roll maintenance, dimensional tolerances, and quality standards. • Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice are preferred. • High school ,ITI & Diploma can be considered for this.
