Senior Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced **Senior Systems Engineer** to serve as a technical authority for enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, automation, security, and modern data environments. The ideal candidate will have **10\+ years of IT infrastructure and systems engineering experience**, including **7\+ years of hands\-on experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps**. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Architect and manage enterprise environments across **Windows Server and Linux** platforms. * Perform advanced Linux administration, scripting, kernel tuning, and security hardening. * Manage and troubleshoot **VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper\-V** environments. * Design and implement **Microsoft Azure IaaS/PaaS, Azure networking, Entra ID, SDN, Hub\-and\-Spoke architecture, and cloud governance**. * Develop Infrastructure as Code using **Terraform and Azure Bicep**. * Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using **Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions**. * Automate system administration using **PowerShell and Ansible**. * Manage and optimize **MS SQL, Kafka, and MongoDB**, including high availability, replication, and disaster recovery. * Manage containerized environments using **Docker and Kubernetes**. * Implement security controls aligned with **ISO 27001 and NIST** standards. * Manage vulnerability assessment and remediation using **Qualys or Tenable**. * Oversee enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions using **Veeam, Commvault, or Veritas**. * Maintain technical architecture documentation, SOPs, configuration standards, and infrastructure diagrams. * Follow **ITIL v4** practices for incident, problem, change, and asset management. * Lead infrastructure projects, migrations, upgrades, and technical initiatives. * Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex infrastructure and architectural challenges. **Skills \& Qualifications** ---------------------------- * Bachelor's Degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering**, or a related field. * Master's Degree is highly preferred. * Minimum **10\+ years of IT infrastructure and systems engineering experience**. * Minimum **7\+ years of hands\-on experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps**. * Expert knowledge of **Windows Server and Linux** environments. * Strong experience with **VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper\-V**. * Extensive knowledge of Azure networking, Entra ID, governance, and cloud architecture. * Advanced knowledge of **Terraform and Azure Bicep**. * Strong experience with **Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions**. * Hands\-on experience with **MS SQL, Kafka, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and Docker**. * Strong understanding of vulnerability management, patching, security hardening, and disaster recovery. * Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. **Preferred Certifications** ---------------------------- * **Microsoft AZ\-305 – Azure Solutions Architect Expert** * **Microsoft AZ\-400 – Azure DevOps Engineer** * **VMware VCP** * **Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)** * **ITIL v4 Foundation** * **Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)**
