Job Title: Senior Surveyor \- Supervision (Infrastructure Projects, Dubai) Posting Start Date: 7/30/26 Job Location: DUBAI Site **Job Summary** --------------- The Senior Surveyor is responsible for checking the adherence of construction work in accordance with the datum and alignment as per design drawings. **Key Responsibilities (Financial)** ------------------------------------ * Ensure responsibilities are fulfilled in a cost effective manner **Key Responsibilities (Customer Focus)** ----------------------------------------- * Ensure the satisfaction of the supervision teams with provided land surveying activities * Constantly maintain and update a repository of latest land surveying\-related regulations and guidelines and communicate any changes to relevant internal stakeholders **Key Responsibilities (Internal Business Process)** ---------------------------------------------------- * Review the general layouts of construction projects and be aware of the project components and nature of works * Ensure that survey instruments proposed by the contractor satisfy the specification requirements in terms of accuracy and functionality * Inspect the survey equipment provided by the contractor to ensure that the instruments are accurate, reliable and recently calibrated * Liaise with respective authorities to receive official reference datum / benchmarks * Review and check the setting\-out of temporary control points / stations by the surveyor * Check the contractor setting out for the permanent works in relation to previously verified datum and survey stations * Inspect the contractors’ formwork and formations for positional accuracy before any permanent works are constructed * Review and approve shop drawings to ensure compliance with the design drawings * Report surveying errors or setting out discrepancies to the Associate Project Manager * Establish a data base for checking the building settlement upon casting every slab to ensure that the total actual settlement is within the allowable value * Carry out a survey checks to ensure that alignment and levels of constructed structures are in line with approved shop drawings prior to casting the subsequent structure * Ensure and report the settlement of the structure at every floor to ensure that final value is within the design limits * Maintain records of all control points and survey stations on site in a well\-organized way and immediately report any damaged or missing reference points to the Associate Project Manager * Review and verify the accuracy of the coordinates and levels shown on contractors’ As\-Built drawings * Implement corporate policies and procedures **Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies** ---------------------------------------------------- * Degree in Surveying * Advanced proficiency in use of surveying instruments * Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally * Good planning, organization and presentation capability * Strong attention to details * Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage **Overall Experience Required to Execute this Role** ---------------------------------------------------- * 5\+ years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering and Planning Industry, particularly in a surveying function **Specific Experience Required to Execute this Role** ----------------------------------------------------- * Experience with leading land surveying activities on supervision sites * Experience with coordinating with authorities and contractors on land surveying activities
