Job description

Role Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of digital transformation projects for major utility providers. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background in Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service (CCS) and Digital Customer Self Service (DCS/DCX) , with a proven track record of managing large-scale migrations and customer experience enhancements. Key Responsibilities • Architectural Leadership: Design and implement Oracle DCX integrated with CCS for large-scale utility providers (10M+ customers). • Digital Strategy: Lead digital customer journey strategies, including onboarding, billing, payments, service requests, and outage management. • System Integration: Integrate Oracle DCX with external systems via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and secure APIs using OAuth2 and IDCS. • Team Management: Direct cross-functional teams across DCX, CCS, and OIC workstreams while ensuring compliance with global data protection standards. • Technical Design: Develop complex technical designs for CC&B upgrades, including Maintenance Objects (MO), Change Handlers, and Business Services. • Quality Assurance: Lead Proof of Concept (POC) developments to validate solutions, reduce technical risk, and oversee the creation of TDDs and UTRs. Required Technical Skills • Core Platforms: Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Utilities Customer Cloud Service (CCS), CC&B (v2.5 to v2.7+), and MDM. • Development Tools: Proficient in OUAF, Java, Groovy Scripting, XAI, and Web Services (REST/SOAP). • Configuration: Hands-on experience with BPA Scripts, Plugin Scripts, Service Scripts, UI Maps, Zones, and Business Objects. • Cloud & DevOps: Experience with OCI/AWS architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and WebLogic/WebCenter portal installation. • Methodologies: Strong background in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks. • Minimum 10 years in Oracle Utilities solution design and implementation. • Certifications: Oracle Cloud Database Migration and Integration Professional or OCI Foundation Associate preferred. • Proven ability to lead junior developers and present complex technical demonstrations to clients and stakeholders.
