Senior Software Development Engineer

Role description As a Fides Development Engineer, you will be part of the core team responsible for building and enhancing norbloc s data sharing platforms. You will collaborate with other developers, QA engineers, and product managers to design, implement, test, and deliver high-quality features. The role requires solid engineering skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive mindset to adapt to different client requirements and project contexts. Duties and responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable features within the platform basis the product architecture and functionality. • Collaborate with the Development and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and working solutions. • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, ensuring adherence to best practices. • Contribute to the design and documentation of APIs and integrations of the platform. • Optimize performance and security of the platform in line with client and regulatory requirements. • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers. • Ensure unit testing of all developed modules and services. • Support troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of issues across multiple environments. • Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of professional software development experience. • Strong knowledge of Node.js or Java/Spring, and modern frontend frameworks (Angular or React). • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and SQL optimization. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA). • Understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Fluency in English. • Experience in Fintech, RegTech or enterprise SaaS and familiarity with blockchain-based platforms or distributed architectures will be considered as a plus.
