Job description

Owning Organization: GDC ME Description: Build, develop, establish, and maintain and safety program policies, processes, and procedures. Work directly with aviation operating entities to ensure inspections, process control analyses, and internal audits are conducted IAW the Business System Manual (BSM). Generate results-based quantitative assessment of contract and safety performance for use by external stakeholders. Implement and maintain an AS9110-compliant Aviation Safety Management System (SMS). Oversee the Risk Management Program, AS9100, AS9120, ISO 21001 (as applicable), and AS9110 standards. Provide expertise and guidance on interpreting policies, governmental regulations, and agency procedures. Support the Quality, Safety,. Supervise and mentor a team of subordinate safety experts. • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. • 5-10 years of related work experience in aviation safety management. • Military aviation experience is preferred. • Completion of the following formal training courses is preferred: SMS, Total Quality Management (or equivalent), AS9100:2016 Lead Auditor Course, and Lean Six Sigma (or equivalent). • Possess strong oral and written communication and presentation skills. • Ability to communicate well in English. • Possess strong customer relationship skills. • Demonstrated motivation for continual improvement and professional development. • Possess a valid driver's license. • Medical Examination: Candidates must successfully complete all mandatory medical examinations required to obtain employment. • Criminal Record: To qualify for a Saudi Work Visa, candidates must have a clean criminal record with no prior convictions, as specified by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. • Drug and Alcohol Testing: Candidates must pass a drug test to be considered for employment. Additionally, our ATSS program enforces a random drug and alcohol testing policy. Employees will be subject to periodic testing to maintain adherence to our workplace standards and safety regulations. • Compliance with Saudi Labor Law: All employment terms and conditions will be in accordance with Saudi Labor Law. Candidates must be prepared to adhere to these regulations throughout their employment.
