Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

**Key Responsibilities** * Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs. * Develop automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and end\-to\-end testing. * Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. * Review business and technical requirements to ensure they are testable and complete. * Design comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios. * Execute manual testing for new features, exploratory testing, usability validation, and areas not yet covered by automation. * Perform API testing and automate API test suites using tools such as Postman or equivalent frameworks. * Identify, document, prioritize, and verify software defects using defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. * Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and improve software quality. * Support release activities through automated regression testing, release validation, and post\-deployment verification. * Monitor automation execution results, analyze failures, and continuously improve test coverage and framework stability. * Define and promote QA best practices, testing standards, and automation guidelines across projects. * Prepare testing reports, quality metrics, and automation coverage reports. **Technical Skills** **Required** * Strong experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright**,** Cypress, and Selenium. * Experience automating REST API testing. * Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. * Experience designing automation frameworks from scratch or extending existing frameworks. * Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. * Experience using Git and version control workflows. * Experience with defect management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. * Experience with browser debugging tools and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). * Familiarity with SQL and database validation. **Preferred** * Experience testing Drupal\-based applications. * Experience testing enterprise system integrations and APIs. * Experience with Docker, DDEV, or containerized development environments. * Familiarity with performance and security testing tools. * Experience with accessibility (WCAG) testing. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. * **5\+ years** of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on test automation. * Demonstrated experience designing and implementing automation frameworks. * ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications are a plus. **Soft Skills** * Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Proactive mindset with a passion for quality and continuous improvement. * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. **Nice to Have** * Experience working with enterprise applications and system integrations. * Experience with cloud\-based development and deployment environments. * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. * Experience mentoring team members on QA automation best practices.
