Senior QA/QC Engineer-1

Location: Oman Employment Type: Full\-Time **Al Bany International Oman** seeking an experienced **Senior QA/QC Engineer** to provide strategic guidance and operational support for large\-scale real estate facilities and asset management activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing effective facilities management strategies, enhancing operational performance, supporting asset lifecycle management, and ensuring high standards of worker welfare and HSE compliance. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop, implement, and maintain project Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001 requirements. * Review and approve Quality Plans, Inspection \& Test Plans (ITPs), procedures, and quality documentation prior to construction and fabrication activities. * Monitor contractor and supplier QA/QC performance and ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards. * Plan and conduct internal quality audits, surveillance inspections, and vendor assessments. * Identify quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions. * Issue, monitor, and close out Non\-Conformance Reports (NCRs). * Prepare project quality reports, dashboards, KPIs, and audit records. * Participate in engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure quality objectives are achieved. * Provide guidance, training, and mentoring to QA/QC personnel. * Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors on all quality\-related matters. **Qualifications \& Experience** * Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related discipline). * Registered Lead Assessor with IRCA, RABQSA, or equivalent certification. * ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification from an accredited body. * Minimum at least **10 years of experience** in QA/QC for building, real estate, and MEP projects. * At least **4 years of experience** in establishing and managing Quality Management Systems. * Strong knowledge of international engineering standards, inspection methods, and quality procedures. * Experience covering the full project lifecycle, including engineering, procurement, construction, inspection, testing, and commissioning. **Technical Requirements** * Comprehensive knowledge of Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC, firefighting, water, and sewage treatment systems. * Proficiency in quality documentation, audits, inspections, and reporting tools. * Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. * Fluency in written and spoken English. **What We Offer** * Opportunity to work on prestigious real estate and infrastructure projects. * Professional growth and career development. * Competitive salary and benefits package. * Dynamic and collaborative work environment.
