Job description
A Senior PRO (Public Relations Officer) in a Construction and Facility Management company is responsible for handling all government-related documentation, approvals, visa processes, labor matters, and regulatory compliance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Government Liaison
• Coordinate with government authorities such as immigration, labor department, municipality, economic department, and free zones.
• Maintain strong relationships with government entities to ensure smooth processing of company requirements.
• Stay updated on UAE labor laws, immigration regulations, and company compliance requirements.
Visa & Immigration Management
• Process employment visas, residence visas, visa renewals, cancellations, and status changes.
• Handle Emirates ID applications and renewals.
• Coordinate medical tests, biometrics, and other immigration procedures.
Labor & Employment Matters
• Manage labor contracts, work permits, and labor card renewals.
• Handle employee onboarding and offboarding documentation.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations and company policies.
Trade License & Company Documentation
• Process trade license renewals and amendments.
• Obtain and renew company permits, approvals, and certificates.
• Maintain records of all company licenses and legal documents.
Construction & FM Regulatory Compliance
• Coordinate approvals and permits required for construction and facility management operations.
• Liaise with authorities for project-related documentation and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with municipality, civil defense, and other regulatory requirements.
Document Control & Administration
• Maintain accurate records of employee and company documents.
• Prepare reports on visa status, license renewals, and compliance matters.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely renewals.
Team Supervision
• Guide and supervise junior PROs and administrative staff.
• Allocate tasks and monitor processing timelines.
• Support management with government-related advisory and compliance matters.
Requirements.
• 5–10+ years of UAE PRO experience.(Construction or Facility management industry)
• Handling headcount of 1000+ Employees
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor, immigration, and licensing procedures.
• Valid UAE driving license (Mandatory).
• Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
• Experience dealing with construction and facility management companies is an advantage
