Senior Petroleum Origination Lead

**Responsibilities** · Originate physical petroleum supply opportunities across the GCC. · Develop and activate relationships with refineries, NOCs, producers, trading houses, authorized distributors and established physical suppliers. · Introduce commercially credible and execution\-ready suppliers to the company. · Secure competitive supply opportunities across relevant refined petroleum products. · Work with the company's buyer/offtake origination function to convert supply opportunities into executable transactions. · Lead commercial engagement from initial origination through term development and transaction activation. · Ensure originated counterparties proceed through KYC/KYB, compliance, onboarding and Deal Room processes. · Maintain disciplined pipeline reporting covering counterparties, products, volumes, commercial status and expected execution. · Support development of long\-term and repeat supply relationships rather than isolated transactions. Represent the company professionally with senior industry counterparties throughout the GCC. **Qualification** · 10\+ years of relevant physical oil/products trading, supply, origination or commercial experience. · A demonstrable GCC network within the physical petroleum market. · Existing senior relationships with credible suppliers and commercial decision\-makers. · Strong understanding of physical petroleum transaction structures and documentation. · Experience negotiating commercial terms involving FOB, FCA and/or other physical delivery structures. · Ability to distinguish genuinely executable supply from intermediary chains and non\-performing opportunities. · Strong commercial judgement, integrity and counterparty discipline. · Ability to operate independently and engage directly with senior management. Evidence of transactions personally originated or materially developed.
