Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Middleware & Digital Platforms Administrator responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, upgrade, performance tuning, backup, recovery, security hardening, and operational support of Oracle and related application platforms. The role will ensure the availability, reliability, security, and optimal performance of enterprise applications and middleware environments across development, testing, staging, disaster recovery, and production environments. The candidate should possess strong expertise in managing Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies, Identity & Access Management solutions, application deployment platforms, and modern web application environments. The candidate should also be interested in learning new technologies and continuously enhancing technical and operational capabilities. Key Responsibilities Environment Management • Manage Development, Test, UAT, DR, and Production environments. • Provision, configure, and maintain application and middleware infrastructure. • Establish environment standards, deployment procedures, and operational guidelines. • Coordinate with the application implementation team for deploying the applications in the respective environments. • Ensure high availability and business continuity of all managed platforms. Installation & Configuration • Install, configure, and administer: • Angular environments • Ionic application environments • Oracle ADF • Oracle APEX • Oracle WebCenter Portal • Oracle Service Bus (OSB) • Oracle SOA Suite • Oracle BPM Suite • Oracle WebCenter Content (WCC) • Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) • Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) • Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) • Oracle Identity Governance (OIG) • Oracle Access Management (OAM) • Oracle Unified Directory (OUD) • Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) • Configure application servers, middleware components, repositories, integrations, security settings, and deployment environments. • Implement and maintain SSL certificates, security policies, and authentication mechanisms. Operations & Administration • Monitor platform health, availability, and performance. • Manage application deployments, releases, and environment migrations. • Perform capacity planning and resource optimization. • Configure and maintain clustering, load balancing, and high-availability setups. • Administer WebLogic domains and managed servers. • Manage middleware logs, diagnostics, and audit trails. • Implement operational procedures and runbooks. Patch Management & Upgrades • Plan and execute platform patching and upgrades. • Apply Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU) and Security Patch Updates (SPU). • Validate compatibility and conduct post-upgrade verification. • Maintain platform currency in alignment with vendor recommendations. Performance Tuning • Analyze and optimize system performance. • Tune WebLogic, JVM, middleware components, database connectivity, and application services. • Identify and resolve bottlenecks affecting application availability and performance. Security Administration • Implement security hardening and compliance requirements. • Support vulnerability assessments and security audits. • Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery • Implement and validate backup and recovery procedures. • Conduct periodic disaster recovery drills and failover testing. • Ensure recovery objectives (RTO/RPO) are met. • Document and maintain recovery procedures. Incident & Problem Management • Provide L2/L3 operational support. • Troubleshoot application, middleware, integration, authentication, and infrastructure issues. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents. • Implement corrective and preventive actions. Documentation & Governance • Maintain architecture diagrams, installation guides, SOPs, operational procedures, and configuration documentation. • Prepare technical reports, health checks, and operational dashboards. • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and change management procedures. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management • Work closely with development teams, infrastructure teams, database administrators, security teams, and business stakeholders. • Support project implementations, migrations, upgrades, and production rollouts. • Participate in technical reviews and solution planning activities. Required Technical Skills Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 8-12 years of hands-on administration experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies. Experience supporting large-scale enterprise production environments. Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, and security implementations. Experience in middleware migration, upgrade, and patching projects.
