**Job Title: Senior Mechanical Tendering \& Quantity Surveying Engineer** **Location:** Riyadh, Saudi Arabia **Experience Required:** 8–10 Years We are seeking an experienced **Senior Mechanical Tendering \& Quantity Surveying Engineer** to join our team in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities * Prepare accurate quantity take\-offs and detailed cost estimates for mechanical works. * Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs. * Prepare RFQs and evaluate suppliers’ and subcontractors’ quotations. * Prepare detailed technical and commercial comparison sheets. * Conduct site measurements and prepare quantity surveys based on actual site conditions. * Review mechanical quantities against drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site conditions. * Prepare, review, and verify subcontractors’ interim payment certificates. * Support tender submissions, value engineering, budgeting, and cost\-control activities. * Maintain updated databases for material, labour, equipment, and subcontractor rates. * Identify quantity, pricing, and scope discrepancies before awarding purchase orders or subcontracts. * Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure complete and compliant quotations. Required Qualifications and Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. * Minimum **8–10 years of relevant professional experience**. * At least **6 years of proven experience in the Saudi construction market**. * Strong experience in tendering, estimation, quantity surveying, and quotation analysis. * Strong knowledge of material, equipment, labour, and subcontractor prices in the Saudi market. * Detailed knowledge of mechanical systems, including: * HVAC systems * Chilled water systems * Ventilation and exhaust systems * Plumbing and drainage systems * Firefighting systems * Pumps, tanks, valves, and mechanical equipment * Ductwork, piping, insulation, and associated accessories * Ability to prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, comparison sheets, and subcontractor payment certificates. * Ability to review mechanical shop drawings and site quantities. * Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel. * Strong analytical, negotiation, reporting, and time\-management skills. * Ability to work accurately under tender deadlines and manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
