Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production machinery and equipment. • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults to minimize machine downtime. • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities according to schedules. • Maintain machinery performance and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and modification projects. • Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities and spare parts usage. • Follow company safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment. • Coordinate with production teams to resolve machine-related issues efficiently. • Support automation-related maintenance activities in cabinetry production areas. • Maintain housekeeping standards within the maintenance workshop and factory. • ITI Technician (2 years) or Technical Diploma (3 years) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related discipline. • Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in industrial machinery. • Experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking machinery is preferred. • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices. • Working knowledge of mechatronics. • Basic automation knowledge; advanced automation skills are an added advantage. • Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
