Job description

Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and monitor ESG policies and procedures across all international subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations. • ESG KPI Development: Define and establish measurable ESG KPIs for international entities, tailored to local contexts while aligning with the company’s global reporting framework. • Reporting and Compliance: Oversee the collection, validation, and reporting of ESG data from international subsidiaries to ensure accurate and timely submission for global ESG disclosures. • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with subsidiary leadership, regional teams, and external partners to ensure consistent adoption of ESG initiatives and foster a culture of sustainability across the organization. • Training and Capacity Building: Develop and deliver training programs to educate subsidiary teams on ESG policies, procedures, and reporting requirements. • Risk Management: Identify and assess ESG-related risks in international operations, providing recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance sustainability performance. • Continuous Improvement: Monitor global ESG trends, regulations, and best practices, recommending updates to policies, procedures, and KPIs to maintain sustainability leadership. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, and other departments to integrate ESG considerations into business strategies and decision-making processes. AUTHORITY / DECISION MAKING Guidelines • Operate within clearly defined policies, standards, procedures, and specific organizational objectives. Decision Making • Work direction is governed by established practices and procedures, with accountability for managing and delivering assigned outputs. • Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. • A Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications are preferred. Minimum Experience • Minimum of 12+ years of experience in ESG, Sustainability, or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), including at least 5 years in a global or international environment. • Proven track record in developing, implementing, and managing ESG policies, procedures, and reporting frameworks. Skills • Strong understanding of global ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting requirements. • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse geographic regions. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define, measure, monitor, and report ESG KPIs. • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, engage, and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders. • Proficiency in data analysis tools and ESG reporting software. • Fluency in written and spoken English. • Additional language proficiency is advantageous when working with international subsidiaries and cross-cultural teams.
